Roughan are competing in the NIBA Championships this coming Saturday in the Marketplace Theatre, Armagh.

The band are playing the testpiece, Resurgam by Eric Ball and is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest pieces ever written for Brass Band. The section begins at 4:15pm Saturday 31st October 2009.

The band kindly accepted an invitation from Sons of William Flute band to open their cultural evening concert, held at the Burnavon Theatre, Cookstown, on 7th March.

The band contested today Saturday 21^st February 2009 in Grade 2 in the "Brass in the Valley" Entertainments contest, Fivemiletown

The band moved up a grade from Grade 3 to Grade 2 this year and faced some stiff competition in the form of last years winners, Ballyduff, 3rd Carrick and Wellington memorial.

Roughan Silver performed last night, Friday 6^th February 2009, in Aughnacloy College at their annual concert, assisted by the Roughan Junior band, Roughan Songsters and Lisbeg Pipe Band. Despite the weather, there was an excellent turnout and the programme was well recieved!
